Embassy Suites Aruba by Hilton: welcome drinks
Guests are treated to a spicy tropical mocktail upon arrival.

Hospitality at Embassy Suites Aruba by Hilton

From the moment we stepped out of the airport, Aruba's reputation as "One Happy Island"—a moniker so ever-present it's printed on the license plates—was evident. The staff at Embassy Suites Aruba by Hilton went above and beyond to make us feel welcome during our stay.

We were greeted with warm smiles and a delicious, spicy tropical mocktail upon arrival at this gorgeous Aruba hotel, and it really set the tone for our visit. Everyone we encountered, from the servers at dinner to the housekeepers in the hallways to the front desk staff, offered genuine smiles and personal greetings. We truly loved the people we met, and their love of their home island—and willingness to share its beauty with us—made our visit truly memorable.

Accommodations at Embassy Suites Aruba by Hilton

This oceanfront Aruba hotel houses 330 family-friendly suites, each with a separate living and dining room with a wet bar. Mini fridges, microwaves, and single-serve coffee makers keep all the essentials close at hand.

Embassy Suites Aruba by Hilton: hotel bedroom
Sleep off your swimming and sun hangover in a spacious bedroom.

In the separate bedroom, families can opt for a single king bed or a pair of queen beds. There's also a spacious closet and a sitting area. Each living room also includes a pull-out sofa bed. At a minimum, each suite sleeps four, and larger families can book connecting rooms. The spacious bathrooms are well-stocked with Zero% products, but if you have little ones, take note: There are no bathtubs here, only stand-up showers.

Beyond the indoor space, we loved the double sliding doors that lead to a balcony complete with a table and chairs—perfect for a morning coffee or evening glass of wine—overlooking the ocean. Event rooms on the other side have a beautiful view of the waving grasses, deep blue lagoon, and beautiful birds at the Bubali Bird Sanctuary, and early risers could catch the sun coming up from this vantage point.

Dining at the Embassy Suites Aruba Hotel

From the included hot breakfast to start the day, to the complimentary happy hour and snacks each evening, you won't go hungry at this Aruba hotel. We loved the fact that we could eat any of our meals in the airy, spacious lobby dining area or on the deck overlooking the pool.

During our visit, we sampled the fare at each of the hotel's restaurants, which include Brickstones Kitchen Restaurant (serving breakfast and dinner), the poolside duo of the Splash Grill and Splash Pool Bar (which serve food and drinks from mid-morning to early evening), and Brickstones Lobby Bar (which takes over for happy hour and drinks into the late evening).

We were also frequent visitors of Brickstones Food-to-Go, an all-day cafe serving Starbucks coffee, sandwiches, salads, and grab-and-go snacks, including a freezer full of the locally produced Coco Dushi popsicles and gelato served in coconut shells. It was a perfect poolside snack!

Amenities and Things To Do at Embassy Suites Aruba by Hilton

The pool at the Embassy Suites Aruba by Hilton is sprawling, and even on a busy afternoon it never felt too crowded. There's a separate kids' pool and a hot tub, plus plenty of lounge chairs, umbrellas, and cabanas, so everyone has a place of their own to lounge.

Unlike the hotels further north at Palm Beach, this Aruba hotel isn't directly on the waterfront, but we found that to be a plus. There's a lovely, paved pathway that takes you under the street to a secluded section at Eagle Beach's edge. While all of the beaches in Aruba are public, this felt off-the-beaten-path enough that it seemed like a private stretch of sand for the resort.

On the plus side, the paved tunnel makes it easy to head to the beach with a stroller in tow, but for now, you'll be lugging all your own gear. Plans are in the works to bring more hotel-style amenities to the beach, but until then, enjoy its relative solitude! You can pick up beach chairs and towels from the poolside cabana before you head out.

Should you want more action, Palm Beach and the heart of Eagle Beach are both an easy walk from this Aruba hotel. Embassy Suites Aruba by Hilton also offers bike rentals so you can get out and explore.

Embassy Suites Aruba by Hilton: Playground
There is plenty for kids to do, like playing on the playground and enjoying a host of daily activities.

Back on the hotel grounds, there's a small playground for kids and a daily activity schedule that includes classes like water aerobics, bingo, and more entertainment. There's also a fitness center, a business center, meeting rooms, and special event spaces.

The hotel also has a partnership with Red Sail Sports Aruba, which can curate an itinerary for you and your family to get out an explore the beautiful island. We enjoyed a memorable sunset dinner cruise complete with a steel-pan drummer and stunning views that we won't soon forget.
