Indoor Play Spaces for Babies and Toddlers in Montgomery County, PA

From moon bounce centers to indoor toddler playgrounds to swing set superstores, Montgomery County has plenty of inside play options for babies and preschoolers. Whether your goal is exercise for the kiddos, creative stimulation, peer social opportunities, or just to escape the confines of the house, our list of indoor play spaces is certain to have a fit for every family.

1. Arnold's Family Fun Center—Oaks

There is something for everyone at this indoor playspace, including rides and attractions designed for the toddlers in your family - prepare to make a day of it!

2. Bouncetown—East Norriton

This inflatable play center has 10,000 square feet of indoor fun where toddlers and preschoolers can burn off energy.

3. BounceU—Horsham and Oaks

This moon bounce facility also offers Preschool Playdate events for little kids to socialize and get out their extra energy. This special bounce time is offered on weekdays, but check their site as times can change.

4. Get Air—King of Prussia

A trampoline adventure park, Get Air is the perfect place to jump, bounce, flip, and flop into fun. With seemingly endless runs of trampolines, ramps, and foam-filled pits to jump into.

5. SkyZone—Oaks 

This trampoline park isn't just for older children. Toddler Time is held several mornings a week, reserved just for kids ages 5 and younger.

6. Chatter Splatter—Conshohocken

Chatter Splatter is a "pay and play" playgroup. There is a new soft baby play area for little ones. Drop-in pricing is available but you save money when you purchase a 10-visit play pass.

7. The Little Pod—North Wales

This indoor play center and cafe is for children aged seven and under, and features special area just for toddlers. Kids enjoy the multi-level climbing gym, soft foam play and scheduled art and music activities. Purchasing a discount pass for reduced rates on multiple visits.

8. LEGOLAND Discovery Center—Plymouth Meeting

This is the spot for LEGO lovers, with 33,000 square feet of LEGO space to play in and explore. Special sections with bigger bricks are available for younger kids.

9. Lulu's Casita—Ardmore

Both a cafe and indoor playground, Lulu's offers a place for adults to relax with a cup of coffee while the kiddies create, build, explore, and socialize. Special events and bilingual story time are also offered. They've expanded to West Chester if you happen to be in that area as well.

10. Mr. B's Coffeehouse—Souderton​

This gem is a coffeehouse with a free indoor Play Zone where kids under 10 can run, jump, and slide while you enjoy your morning coffee and pastry, as well as free wifi.

11. Jungle Wonder—Limerick​

A large indoor family fun center, Jungle Wonder has a designated toddler area within their soft playground. Little ones can climb, slide, and play in a space apart from the big kids.

12. Gymboree—Collegeville

Offering open gym for children up to five years old, Gymboree also boasts an excellent selection of music and art classes for kids under five.

13. Montgomery County Sports Performance Center—Harleysville

Preschool age open gym time is available at this large facility, subject to availability, so it's always advisable to call to verify times.

14. Romp n' Roll—Willow Grove

Open gym time is available for a fee even if kids aren't enrolled in classes. Designed for little ones under the age of 5, kiddos crawl, climb, and jump around on the soft gym equipment and toddler-friendly play space.

15. Rainbow Play Systems—King of Prussia

Open play hours at this swing set superstore can be a great cure for cabin fever. The best time to visit is fall and winter when the store is not as busy and it's recommended to call the store for play hours.

16. Superior Play Systems—Norristown

Free open playtime is offered every day at this playground equipment store, where they can test slides, swings, and trampolines. They even offer annual memberships and party passes. 

 

Don't overlook the malls as a place to take little ones who just need to get out of the house. While shopping with a toddler isn't usually my idea of a fun outing, Plymouth Meeting and King of Prussia offer enclosed play spaces for babies to climb, slide, and run around safely. Plymouth Meeting Mall and Willow Grove Mall are also home to giant carousels, beckoning families to take a spin.
