The Homestead Museum's annual festival celebrates the Roaring 20s in a weekend filled with music, dancing, silent films, crafts, historic house tours, games, demonstrations, and more.
1920s dress is encouraged and Prohibition is strictly enforced, (that means no alcohol, folks!) Bring your own lawn chairs or blankets, but please leave dogs at home, (only certified service animals are permitted at the festival).
Featured bands on Saturday are California Feetwarmers and The Night Blooming Jazzmen. Sunday sees the return of Janet Klein and her Parlor Boys, as well as Puppet shows presented by the Bob Baker Marionette Theater.
Other fun includes dance demonstrations and lessons, silent films with live musical accompaniment, 1920s automobiles, ukulele and Mah Jongg lessons, and more.
Rain cancels.
